Our NTB glove is made of green nitrile, has an excellent tact and grip, completely waterproof, thus easily exceeding penetration and permeation tests in the EN 374-1:2016/A1:2018 regulation.
Regulation EN 374-1:2016/A1:2018
This regulation defines three types of gloves:
- Type A = The level of benefit for permeation will be at least level 2 against at least 6 dangerous chemicals.
- Type B = The level of benefit for permeation will be at least level 2 against at least 3 dangerous chemicals.
- Type C = The level of benefit for permeation will be at least level 1 against at least 1 dangerous chemical.
Tests passed by the NTB glove
In addition, our NTB glove has to pass some tests of:
· Permeation= passage of a chemical through a molecular level material.
· Penetration= passage of chemical substances through pores, micropores, seams, imperfections of the product surface.
Our NTB glove passes the EN 374-1:2016/A1:2018 regulation as type b against chemicals having an excellent result:
· n-Heptane level 6
· Sodium Hydroxide level 6
· Sulfuric Acid 96% level 2
In addition to the following chemicals:
· White Spirit Level 6 (white gasoline, solvents ...)
· Sodium Hypochlorite 5% Level 6 (bleach)
The best glove protection against corrosive chemicals
In addition to this regulation, our category III NTB glove is also certified for the EN 420:2003+A1:2009 regulation, EN 388:2016, getting a high level of abrasion (3) and in the regulation of food tests, being able to be in contact with aqueous, alcoholic foods or dairy products.
For whom is the NTB glove indicated?
It is a glove especially suitable for the automotive industry for its excellent result against corrosive products of batteries such as sulfuric acid, laboratories, hospital cleaning or for the oil industry for the chemicals that are handled.
